My Coaching Philosophy

I view my relationship with my clients as an equal partnership. I hold my clients as fully capable. The answers they seek either come from within or I hold them resourceful in finding the answers. My goal is to accelerate their process by deep listening, asking open-ended questions, offering insights, making requests, forming thoughtful inquiries, and holding client accountability. I subscribe to the philosophy that “ the coach has the questions and the client has the answers.” The client is always at choice as to the direction of a coaching call and may refuse or negotiate a request that I make. Whatever is discussed is held in strict confidence. I usually work with my clients over the phone, although the initial session is often conducted in person. Besides offering convenience, it has been my experience that coaching over the phone is very powerful and that a very deep level of listening often occurs when visual and auditory distractions are removed.
